BEHAVIOUR ASSESSMENTS

If your dog is behaving inappropriately then help is at hand and an assessment can be arranged on request. (Assessments will usually take place in the owner's home).

Behaviour assessments £155 (travelling expenses may be incurred), With extra charge incurred for a written report.

After the assessment, a recommendation report can be produced for your information (Optional Extra).    

ONE TO ONE TRAINING - Socialization and basic training

• The benefits of one to one tuition are that
• You can train your dog at a rate and time that suits you both. 
• You will have full attention of the trainer for 1 hour.   
• Your dog will be socialised with dogs that are especially chosen to suit your dog's temperament.  (Thus causing as little stress to them as possible).

The atmosphere will be calm and relaxed and this helps both of you to concentrate, learn and enjoy your training sessions.  When you are calm, your dog will follow suit.

BEHAVIOUR MANAGEMENT, and Retraining -

1^stmeeting is for me to assess your dog, what concerns you have, and the behaviour that needs modifying or managing, diet and exercise, how to motivate the breed you have chosen, how a dog learns and the benefits of training using kind fair and effective methods,  some methods you may have heard about are short sharp and give instant results, however these unkind and cruel methods do not modify or manage a behaviour, they simply frighten the dog into not doing them, however this method of training is short lived and in most cases the dogs behaviour returns very quickly if not instantly and then escalates.  SO PLEASE BE FAIR TO YOUR DOG AND GIVE HIM/HER A CHANCE TO RELEARN USING A REWARDING, UNDERSTANDABLE, AND FAIR METHOD, It will take consistency and hard work on your part, but the rewards will be great.

2^ndmeeting is about more training, adjusting what we are teaching our dog, in most cases there is room for improvement, however the more you do the more you understand and the more equipped you will be to help your dog understand this new way of being and living with you is now forever.

3^rdmeeting is reviewing what you and your dog have learnt, modifying if we need to and to learn to expect more from your dog, realising that we have to put effort and work into our dogs on a permanent basis to ensure we have a happy, contented and treasured member of our family and live a long and happy life together.  We have to remember that the time we spend with our dogs is constructive and regardless of the breed you have chosen you can encourage them to be a very important part of you life, teaching them to help around the house, to carry objects, to put there toys away, to fetch there lead, the list is endless, if you give your dog a job in life as opposed to just waiting for the highlight of the day which is normally going for a walk or eating there dinner (which probably equates to 1 hour in 24hours of activity) then you will have a very special relationship with your dog.

After our 3^rdsession together you will be offered a chance to join one of our 6 week training courses, which one will depend on how well your dogs education is coming along, we offer, rallyo, agility, pet dog group training, puppy, bronze, silver and gold awards, we also run workshops for training days.
